Drico for player of the tournament?? As much as i love to see him get it, i feel others were very hard done by. I think Sergio Parise had a more consistant tournament, as did girvan dempsey.
Just read the comments from Syd Millar, well so much for a considered discussion from the IRB. I guess it too much to expect from an ex front-row forward to do much other than stick the boot in.
I was expecting the IRB to at least refrain from comment until they had involved both sides in discussion. Syd comes across as a bombastic bully, well thats certainly going to bring the sides together.
I guess we now head for the courts. IRB you failed rugby.

I would agree, as much as I am a huge fan I thought even Darcy had more of a consistent championship.
I would have gone for Parise.

Sad isn't it when you hear ill informed opinion blurted out without thinking. You would have thought the whole PR machine at least would have stopped that! It just makes you realise what the clubs are up against.
I think I might have to do a proper rant on it!!!

I'd be interested in hearing your views on the whole club versus country debate. France seem to have a thriving club scene and a succesful international side, what is the secret?
Whilst my legal training is limited the threats from the IRB sound like restraint of trade, why do the RFU and the IRB behave like Master and servant?
