Heineken Weekend

Predictions??
What a surprise that Leinsterfan goes for the Welsh club!!!! You are so predictable!!
Having said that, I have a horrible feeling that you just might be right, although I am well aware that yours was not a cold hearted business decision, more of a desperate hope that an English side would lose!!!
It might just be too much for Leicester, fighting on three fronts as Chris rightly points out. I also think that the Scarlets have a good balance, and if they can gain some parity with the Leicester pack ( an ageing, tired Leicester pack), then I think they can pose to many attacking questions for the Leicester backs. Being completely biased, I obviously hope that is not the case, but I am just a little concerned!!
Peter,
That must have been a very old photo!! I have always been partial to wearing a Fez hat, especially when I just want to blend in around Earls Court!!!!
I am going to write a piece on Brian Moore and Eddy Butler in the next day or two, because their constant bickering really gets on my tits!!! Anyone else agree???

Did you see this comment in the telegraph
New world record levels of cant and hypocrisy were attained this week when a mind-twisting press release arrived from Sanzar - the first time they have lowered themselves to contact us in the 'north' in 12 years - generally berating the English and French clubs and confirming, clearly at the behest of the International Rugby Board, that "the governance of the game should rest with National Unions under the guidance of the IRB".
Surely this is not the same Sanzar that held world rugby to ransom by secretly negotiating a £350 million deal for themselves in 1995 and presented a fait accompli to the IRB, who pathetically turned about face and declared the game "open" three months later rather than organise professionalism properly? Is this also the same Sanzar who have continually reneged on promises to include the Pacific Islands in an expanded Super 14 and cynically pilfered their best players? (Apologies to South Africa who have not been involved in the latter).
There are those at the IRB who seem to have extraordinarily short memories or have conveniently 'parked' the truth elsewhere in the hope that nobody notices. Alas, there is more chance of some rugby administrators climbing Everest without oxygen than attaining the moral high ground."
If the RFU thought the having the IRB wade in might help it seems they were mistaken.
Listening to Butler and Moore is like having Waldorf and Stadtler from the Muppet Show do the commentary.
I do, however, love Brian Moore's hilarious commentary as he is such an ardent England supporter and so blinkered in his views as he disparages almost every other nation.
However, I fear Brian seems to be mellowing. I'm sure he said a few nice things about other teams in this Six Nations. I reckon Eddie slipped something in his tea (I dread to think what, though).
