Deano !!

Wasn't that Deano at his best!! I don't know if any of your saw it, but after Quins played Leicester, Deano was told in his interview that Andy Goode had called Quins boring and negative! Deano, took a swig from his drink, that look came into his eye, and then he answered! First of he was serious about the match, and then came his great little touch, 'how come he was playing anyway, has he made up with the coaches then???!!!!' Brilliant!! Publicly he had a recurring hamstring problem, but Deano has just revealed to all of us that Goode has obviously fallen out with the coaching team, and he has been out of the side whilst his dummy has been ricocheting around Leicester city centre!!!! Love it!!!

Cripes! A Leicester player calling another team "boring and negative"?! Are we going to look "pot" in the dictionary and see Goode's humongous eyebrows outside Welford Road?!
I mean, sure, 'Quins are more toff than a packet of Worthers Originals held by none other than Leslie Phillips, but they're far from "boring and negative"!
I mean, when you make the Munster at Thomond Park fall asleep and when Gloucester (of all people) have a more dynamic and electric back like than you have, then something is seriously amiss.
Quality stuff from Dean Richards though, gotta love him. Wish him the very best...so long as he don't beat Sarries!
It has pretty obvious for a while that Goode has dropped down the pecking order and the fight for starting positions in the Tigers team is ferocious. I'm not sure he has the stomach for the competition and if I was in the Tigers management I'd be looking around for another No10 who might like the opportunity to play in top class European rugby.
Ian humphries looks a pretty useful option at ten for them, should goode be truly falling out of favour. My god they'll have to start calling them Leicester Irish soon!!!
The injury list looks quite worrying guys. Ashton is now forced to test out the young guns. Is this a good or a bad thing?
Humphries looks excellent but will probably move to an Irish club to enhance his international prospects. Jennings and Cullen have already said they are moving so the Irish content is somewhat diminished :-(
Top premiership sides need two quality No10's Burke has not been a great success and Goode has not been able to command a regular starting spot.
The injuries will only be a good thing if it focuses minds on the club versus country issue.
I think Ashton has realised that it is a crucial selection anyway, no longer can he patch up the side with plasters!!
The Irish sort of ripped those to pieces!!!
So he might well have been going to give youth it's head anyway! Who knows!
Should be very interesting, but I am hoping there will be at least four changes in the forwards and two in the backs!
Ashton was present at London Irish's demolition of Newcastle yesterday.
I think he was very interested in how the present generation can hold up against the new talent.
The results may well heavily influence his selection tomorrow!
